How It Works

1. Scale calibration: Select a known reference dimension — rim lip exterior (54mm), wheel hex (12mm), or wheel diameter (~52mm). The system uses this to establish pixels-per-mm scale, making measurements independent of photo distance or angle.

2. Pickup point detection: Computer vision identifies hinge pins, ball studs, and suspension arm endpoints. You can verify or manually adjust each point.

3. Geometry calculation: From the pickup points, the system calculates link lengths, arm angles, instant center, and roll center — the same values needed for the setup advisor.

4. Multi-photo verification: Take 2-3 photos of the same chassis. The system cross-validates measurements across photos for higher confidence.
