Terms of Service
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Welcome to RC Tuner (rctuner.com). By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully โ especially the alpha disclaimer.
1. Alpha software โ please back up your data
โ ๏ธ RC Tuner is alpha software. It may contain bugs. Features may change or disappear without notice. Your data โ setups, telemetry, garage โ may be lost due to migration errors, resets, or other causes. Keep your own backups. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
2. What RC Tuner does
RC Tuner helps RC hobbyists create, compare, and analyze car setups and telemetry. It exists to help you tune faster โ not to predict lap times you can't drive.
3. Acceptable use
You may use RC Tuner for personal RC car setup and tuning. You agree to:
- Use the service for RC-related setup, tuning, and telemetry work.
- Not abuse the service โ no scraping, automated attacks, or attempting to break things on purpose.
- Not use the service for anything illegal.
- Not impersonate other users or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Not interfere with other users' ability to use the service.
4. Your content โ your setups
Your setups, telemetry, and garage data are yours.
- Ownership: You retain all ownership of the content you upload.
- License to us: You grant RC Tuner a limited license to use, store, and process your content for the purpose of running the service (including syncing it to your other devices).
- Anonymized analytics: You grant us a non-exclusive license to use anonymized, aggregated statistics derived from your data (e.g. "popular camber settings") to improve the product. We strip user identifiers before any aggregation. You can opt out of this in account settings.
- Export: You can export your full data via the Setup Export tool at any time.
We will not publish, share, or sell your individual setups without your explicit consent.
5. No warranty โ use at your own risk
RC Tuner aims to be useful and accurate, but:
- Setup suggestions may be wrong for your track, conditions, or car.
- Telemetry processing has tolerances โ don't base critical hardware decisions on it without verifying physically.
- We do not guarantee uptime, stability, or feature availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RC Tuner is provided "as is" with no express or implied warranties.
6. Termination
Either you or we can end your use of RC Tuner at any time. You can delete your account via account settings or by emailing support@rctuner.com.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms (e.g. abuse, impersonation). We'll try to give notice when possible.
On termination, we aim to give you a window to export your data. After that window, your content may be deleted from our servers.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be:
- Posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
- Called out in the RC Tuner changelog.
- Notified to you by email where we have it.
Continued use of RC Tuner after changes become effective means you accept the new terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RC Tuner and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
9. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the RC Tuner operator is established. Questions or concerns:
